Bubba Chandler, by contrast, has a 4.49 ERA and 1.41 WHIP, and his 4.98 BB/9 is the biggest warning sign in the matchup. If Chandler is behind in counts, New York has the clear path to controlling the game early, because Stock’s profile so far suggests the Mets should not need many runs if he keeps filling the zone.
