Accessibility
PitcherStat aims to make dense baseball tables and scores usable on desktop and mobile, including with a keyboard and with color not used as the only signal.
STANDARD WE AIM FOR
We work toward Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 Level AA for public pages: semantic headings, keyboard access, visible focus, text alternatives for meaningful images, and contrast that keeps body copy readable on the dark theme.
WHAT WE DO
Important scores can be read as numbers, labels and ranks, not only as color. Team and player names are linked in text. The cookie notice can be dismissed with Accept or Necessary only. Legal and policy pages use standard headings rather than image-only titles.
KNOWN LIMITS
Some dense leaderboards and comparison grids are easier on a wide screen. Decorative league marks may be marked as decorative. We continue to improve contrast, focus order and mobile layout as pages are rebuilt.
