In one paragraph

The standings tell you who has won the games. T-Score asks a different question: what does the team's broader performance profile look like underneath the record? By combining multiple areas of team performance, it can distinguish clubs that arrive at similar records in very different ways — one through dominant pitching, another through offense, another through balanced strength across the roster.

WHAT IT LOOKS AT

T-Score is built from a broad set of team-level indicators. The pillar names below match the grades on team pages.

·Rotation — the strength, stability and depth of the starting staff.

·Bullpen — relief performance and the quality of late-game run prevention.

T-SCORE VERSUS STANDINGS

Standings and T-Score are intentionally shown side by side because they answer different questions. The standings are definitive: they determine who is ahead. T-Score is analytical: it describes the strength of the performance behind that record. A team can therefore rank higher in T-Score than in the standings, or lower. That is not a contradiction — it is the reason both views exist.

Is T-Score a power ranking?+

Not in the usual editorial sense. T-Score is calculated from structured team performance data and updated systematically rather than ordered by opinion.

Why can a team with fewer wins have a higher T-Score?+

Because win totals are only one part of the team profile. The strength of the offense, rotation, bullpen, overall run prevention and run differential can point to a stronger underlying season even when the standings have not produced the same ordering.

Does T-Score predict the playoffs?+

No. T-Score measures team strength from the season data. It does not simulate the remaining schedule or publish a proprietary playoff probability.

Is the formula public?+

The major pillars, purpose and interpretation are public. Exact weights and internal transformations remain proprietary.
